Oh, but I suppose it hasn't actually been that long since I saw it.

Oh yeah? Do you visit the beach often?

Practically every day! I lived on an island, you see.

What about you? Did you see much of the ocean, where you come from?

[ An island... Ideal. ]

This must feel just like home to you then. [ Hehe. ] The county I lived in was by the coast, so I could see the ocean but there were mostly ports in my city, not beaches.

I'd much prefer the serenity of a beach, if I'm honest.

Week 1, Monday

[ Eupha can be found looking around the village in the evening, when the skeletons are all set out! She stares at a skeleton snake... ]

How strange. What creature could leave remains like this...?

Never seen a snake before?

Oh, I have! They are a sacred beast to those of us from Eht Ria. But the bones they leave are very thin and brittle, and the teeth are very different...

[ eupha looks very normal for this lovely weekly effect, except perhaps for the helmet that covers her entire head. ]

Week 2, Saturday

[ eupha can be found outside the mansion, closer to the garden, where the scent of incense gently drifts from where she has set up a little altar. she sits on the ground, perfectly still save for her steady breathing. her two lower eyes are closed, but the third one stays open.

if she notices claude's presence, she does not seem to react right away. ]

You see villagers gathered before their chief, clamouring for action. There are intruders on the island, they say. Sanctists, come to steal the divine relics. They must be put to death. The chief tries to calm them, explaining that the outsiders have done no harm, but they will not be placated. This is but the latest in a series of disasters.

They are right. It is time to perform the ritual.

[ Wow, does "divine relic" sound familiar to him. The rest of the memory does not, however, and when it fades, he has a little frown on his face. ]
