It never gets any easier, I don't think. Though... selfishly, perhaps - some part of me is grateful, that things did not escalate as far as Mizu thought they might.
... That much is true. The loss of life isn't really something you can count in numbers, but there is something to be said about the fact that at least we didn't have three dead this week.
Which makes me wonder if the second one from last week was because someone was tempted by that tree.
