Oh? Fear of water?

Not an irrational one. I'm a city girl at heart. I don't swim even a stroke.

That is a reasonable fear then.

Thankfully these pools should be shallow enough for you.

[ He'll toe off his boots and socks, and roll up his pants so he can put his feet in too. ]

Have you gotten attached to your costume?

Well, no. But it seems a bit too early in all of our acquaintance for public nudity.

[this is a mixed bath so. dressed it is.]

And my other clothes are made of leather.

... There are other clothes in that shop. You could find something of cotton or linen.

[ Splishy splashes his feet. ]

I could, but haven't. I'm comfortable enough as is. I may as well soak all of the assorted burger grime off before I change.

[ Smiling innocently. ]

Aren't you going to need to go further in to get it all?

[looking at him, where he's splashing his feet.]

Did you get it nowhere but your toes?

I could've helped myself to the baths already. Now I'm just relaxing.

[ Looking back at her. ]

Why are you watching me so intently... my liege, I am but a humble cleric.

[ Opens his mouth. Pauses. And then shakes his head and laughs. ]

No matter how I try to respond it sounds creepy.

[she laughs, too.]

When in reality, you were simply trying to see if I'd drown.

What? Never.

[ Shaking his head. ]

I only want to see you enjoy yourself.
