I would like to think so, but I honestly don't know. [it's complicated.] She was kind to everyone. She cared about everyone. [and it's hard to feel certain of where you stand with someone like that.] But I think that quality of hers was wonderful. Somehow I always believed her when she said things that I would have laughed off from anyone else.

I was always taught to think kindness like that was weakness, but hers wasn't. It wasn't for Charlie, either. [but this place keeps trying to make her feel stupid for thinking so.]
I guess that depends on what you consider strength to be.

But you're right, I think they were both strong. And I don't want to speak for them too much but I doubt they regret trying to bring happiness to those of us here.
